We stayed at Sonder Casa Luz on a four-day working trip in Barcelona, and we would absolutely book here again. The hotel’s best feature is without doubt its rooftop restaurant and terrace, with views overlooking Plaça Universitat.

When it’s not meal time, the restaurant has more of a quieter café vibe. You can plug in here to do some work, or flip your laptop out on the terrace with those sweeping views.

The wifi is strong and fast throughout the hotel, and the comfy bedrooms are equipped with desks. Whether you want to use the hotel as a casual working base or you just need to get a few tasks done at the end of a day exploring, it fits the bill perfectly.

In terms of location, you couldn’t really be more central. There’s a metro station right outside, so you can be anywhere in the city in a matter of minutes, while Plaza Catalunya is just a few minutes’ walk away.
